By law Mississippi DUIs cannot be reduced to a lesser offense by the prosecutor or judge. While some states allow for the reduction of DUI to reckless driving through a plea agreement, Mississippi does not. So if you’re charged with drunk driving in this state it’s all or nothing. You either plead as charged or you fight the case. For help, contact Southaven DUI attorney Patrick Stegall today.
